On Better Terms Announce New Upcoming Album, ‘Waves’

Dallas band, On Better Terms, are a groovy fusion of spoken word, rugged vocals, and rhythmic distortion. Originally forming in 2013, OBT are no strangers to the music scene, particularly in the DFW area. Consisting of band members Andrew Kuehm, Alex Rincon, Alex Kershner, and Josh Sparkowich, OBT have crafted a sound that is unique in its own right. Lead vocalist Andrew Kuehm’s deep, gruntled vocals capture your attention immediately. There is a sort of cognitive dissonance that occurs when you listen to OBT’s new song, ‘Peaks’: you hear the sweet melody coupled with pensive, raspy vocals, almost symbolic of the sweet and harshness one faces in life. ‘Peaks’ is about just that, detailing the upward momentum of life’s journeys and the challenges along the way.  Watch the new visual below.

OBT announces that they will be releasing a full-length album in early 2019

The band has officially announced that that their full-length album, ‘Waves’ is set to release January 8, 2019. ‘Peaks’ will be featured on it along with other goodies the band has been concocting. 2019 begins touring for the band as they will be touring nationwide. You will be able to catch the gang in a town near you. If you haven’t heard OBT’s older project, ‘Superbloom’, you can check back and get some major vibes to hold you until ‘Waves’.
