Kongos made their way to Houston for their “1929 tour”, last week at Warehouse Live Studio. This band surely stood tall as people from all ages swaying back and forth as they curated to every heart that was in the room. Opening for them was the band “Fitness” a start-up band of Max and Kenny. For an opener, they brought the house to laughs, smiles, and the want of movement. Performing their single “Matter of Time”, the crowd was pleased and ready to take on Kongos full blown.

Kongos is a band of brothers, yes brothers, from the sunny city of Phoenix, Arizona. With roots in South Africa and London, they bring all kinds of genres from Alternative rock, Kwaito, Hard rock, and melodies that are so sweet you can’t help but feel their love in the lyrics. Leaving the show felt a sense of unity, compassion and all around satisfaction.
