October 1st, 2018: Singer Kali Uchis has been making a lot of noise. From consistently releasing songs and visuals, to collaborations with Bootsy Collins, to hanging out with Drake, there is no telling what she will do next. Kali is currently on tour in support of her “Isolation” album. The tour swept through Houston at a packed House of Blues last weekend leaving crowds begging for an encore. Kali has a large stage presence that commands attention. Adorned in elaborate outfits as an extension of her creative mood, she is a very aware performer who understands how to paint creative spaces using anything in her reach: her music styles, dress, her voice, and body.  Highlights of the night were her performance of “Tyrant” and “After The Storm” which many in the audience knew verbatim.
