Prepare For A Love Overdose: Damaria Releases First Single From Upcoming Title

Singer Damaria leaks new single from upcoming album, Love Overdxse

“Love Overdxse” is the very 1st project to be released by Houstonian singer/songwriter Damaria. She states that she has spent three years writing producing, and putting together her upcoming EP. Today she releases her first single, “Never Find Another”. Damaria bursts forth into the music scene with a very smooth, soulful voice that unhip ears will be taken aback by.

“I’ve been writing for artists in the city on the low and doing features with friends while preparing for my debut project” Damaria states. “I recorded nearly 50 songs just for this one EP, and after careful consideration, I chose the 5 tracks that best embody the message of the album: Being overdosed on love. I went through a lot in the last 3 years, in terms of being in love, falling out of love, falling in lust, and falling back in love again. Love is a rollercoaster of emotions, and is difficult for all of us for that very reason. Sometimes we crave love with everything we have in us, but other times, we get hurt so much from it that we don’t want it anymore. Like a bad overdose of your favorite drug and they say love is the most powerful drug.”

She continued, “My 1st single release for “Never Find Another” tells a story of a woman being deceived by a man she was falling in love with. Until she realizes she was just “another girl” to him. A very relatable situation to many, but this time to the point where the pain is so severe, she plans a murder…. “You musta thought I was another” is repeated in the hook, letting him know he finally messed with the wrong one.” 

 

The EP will be released on Friday, September 22nd.
