Rapper, O.E releases his first EP via The Outlet
Houston emcee, Chris Lollie known as O.E releases his first EP, titled ‘Whoa’. It should be very interesting to see what O.E plans to bring to the table. Much luck to O.E, Alief bred and raised.
Chris seemingly has found his flow on his first project. ‘Whoa’ packs a heated delivery as he gives us dope, relentless bars. With twists of words, similes, and wordplay, one can foresee the young emcee following the musical paths of artists such as Joey Bada$$ or Earl. With traces of Talib Kweli, Trae, and Vince Staples influence as well as various chill futuristic sounds, ‘Whoa EP’ is packed with different cool vibes that work well together. With future releases and further tweaking of his sound, it wont be long before O.E establishes a core following.

“I wouldn’t describe myself as a “Houston Rapper” because that implies that Houston has one set style and, contrary to what people outside of my city may think, that is far from the case. As far as music goes (and even beyond) we have have some of the most unique characters here in this city and I think that stereotype of Houston rappers all being the same is what makes being an artist coming out of Houston so great. I’m inspired by artists like Kendrick Lamar for their uniqueness, Joey Bada$$ for their lyricism, and Chance The Rapper for their overall passion for music. When you take these things and put them together you get me.”
