Born in Mississippi, raised in South West Alief Texas, Sipp Rogers started rapping in 2011. His debut in the Houston rap scene began in 2012 with his project titled, “Supreme Eggs & OatmeaL“. He is a part of the OatmeaLKLan with fellow Alief artist, OzmosisTooRAW.

Sipp re-releases his project, “Tales Of Ashy Earnest” via New Houston Music Outlet. The project is a great find for the casual listener, backpacker, and hype man alike.

Sipp Rogers has a craftiness about him that you soon discover at first listen. Songs like Animal Planet and Footprints do a good job of this while tracks like August and Cj’s Favorite Song are intimate, introspective pieces that give us a clear visual of this Southwest artist’s ingenuity and very down-to-Earth atmosphere.
